Dakota Ultrasonics : MX-1
MX-1 Preset Velocity Thickness Gauge

The MX-1 is a simple, fixed velocity gauge.

The advantages of a fixed velocity gauge include:

- No calibration, just Probe Zero and you are ready to test

- Less expensive, hundreds of dollars less than other gauges

- No special training, instrument is always calibrated for selected material

- No calibration block required

Dakota offers you just the right model with just the right features at just the right price. Plus the industry's best warranty!

The MX-1 is set for a single material velocity, making it the perfect choice where one material is being tested day after day. With the preset velocity in the gauge, you simply turn on the gauge and you are ready to work. The MX-1 is supplied with the velocity set for carbon steel unless otherwise requested. Measurements of other materials can be made by applying a correction factor or resetting the velocity with a simple software program that is supplied with the unit.

The tool's backlit display is easy to read, even in dim lighting conditions.

THE MX-1 operates for up to 200 hours on a single set of AA batteries.

The MX-1 is packaged in an all metal case, sealed with gaskets to protect it from harsh working environments.

These gauges can go where you go, to do the work you do, saving you time and money, making fast accurate measurements.

Dakota Ultrasonics offers quality gauges that are reliable, innovative and competitively priced—all backed by the longest warranty in the business—5 full years.
