Ultrasonic Weld Inspection Course - Level II

This course
covers the various ultrasonic welding inspection techniques, with emphasis on
the evaluation of indications. The methods and acceptance requirements of the
AWS Building and Bridge Code as well as the ASME Pressure Vessel Code are
reviewed in detail.

The student is required to inspect butt and tee welds and report
the test results to the requirements of the above specifications. Approximately
65% of class time is devoted to lectures, 25% to hands-on testing.

This course meets
the training requirements of SNT-TC-1A for Level II.
