coating thickness, including: magnetic inductive, eddy current,
hall effect, beta-backscatter, x-ray fluorescence and coulometric
methods. The capabilities and limitations and costs of each method
are discussed. 8-hours.

HT Hardness Testing Seminar

This seminar covers the various test methods used to measure
material hardness, including: Brinell, Vickers, Rockwell and
Dynamic (Leeb) methods. The use of bench-top and portable
instruments including the capabilities and limitations of each
method and instrument are discussed. Seminar can be limited to
specific methods or equipment and can include Eddy Current
Conductivity. 8-hours.

testing for basic crack detection and sorting applications
including through coating crack detection using absolute and
differential probes is covered. Thickness/corrosion applications

auditors, etc. to radiographic film interpretation of welds.
It reviews the production of radiographs, film types, IQI’s,
film density requirements etc. It further covers welding flaws
and their radiographic appearance. Quality and acceptance
criteria of common codes are discussed. 8-hours.
